A pleasant gentle wander through Midhust Common and adjacent land led by a National Park ranger. We will be walking through heathland and woodland habitats discussing what we see and hear. Not suitable for wheelchairs. No stiles or gates. Some uneven and maybe muddy ground. Mainly level walk with one or two short steep assents and descents.

Location Midhurst Common. Meet at Carron Lane Car Park. Grid reference SU 87768 21427.

There are bus stops on the A272 at Guillards Oak (if coming from Petersfield) and Convent (if coming from Midhurst) for buses 91, 92 and 93. However, please note that there is a walk of approximately 1km to the meeting point from the bus stops. At the Midhurst end of the A272 Petersfield Road turn off Turn off on to Carron Lane (left if you are coming from Midhurst and right if you are coming from Petersfield). This is a small residential lane so please be careful of parked cars and oncoming traffic. This leads up to the recreation ground and cemetery car park. Meet in the car park.
