Join a National Park ranger to explore the countryside around Heyshott. Focusing on the heathland and its wildlife/history, these walks will vary in route but will stay under 5 miles. Suitable for trampers and off-road pushchairs or those that could be carried over obstacles, but not suitable for wheelchairs due to boggy, uneven ground. Dogs on leads welcome.

Directions

From the A286 heading towards Midhurst from Chichester, turn right onto Bex Lane. Continue on this road for around 3.5km until Hoyle crossroads (Where Hoyle Lane and New Road cross), and turn left. The car park is approximately 500m on the left. From the A272 heading towards Midhurst from Petworth, turn left onto New Road (first left after Halfway Bridge). Continue for 3km and the car park is on the right.
