This FREE walk is organised as part of our Heathlands Reunited project.

Chapel Common is one of the best examples of lowland heathland in Sussex. Join SDNPA ranger Dan Cornell who can update you on work he has been helping to manage on this Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Walk from Chapel Common through Forest mere to Weavers Down.

Paths at Chapel Common can be rough so is unsuitable for pushchairs. The walk will end by returning back to Chapel Common.

Address: Chapel Common, Liss, West Sussex, GU33 7JN. SU 81263 28417 Paths at Chapel Common can be rough so is unsuitable for push chairs. No toilets.

Directions

Driving: From Liss; take the B2070 towards Liphook, then the second hand turn after Rake CE Primary School. There is limited parking available along this road. Public Transport: Nearest bus stop is Coldharbour. Can get there via the Stagecoach 737 from Petersfield and Liphook.
