With your Discovery ticket, you’re free to explore everything the South Downs National Park area and beyond has to offer by bus.

Queen Elizabeth Country Park Visitor Centre is a request stop and from here it is a short walk along a foot path to fantastic play areas for all ages. For under 8s there is a range of animal themed play equipment in the Tots Play Area and for the older children there’s an Adventure Play Trail.

From this point, there are are 20 miles of walking routes to explore, from short strolls to longer hikes. You’ll be amazed at what you might discover on the way; 38 species of butterfly and 12 species of wild orchid can be found in the Park. Themed guided walks such as ‘dawn chorus’ and ‘fungal forays’ take place throughout the year. For those looking for more adventurous pursuits, paragliding, kite flying and orienteering is available.

Stop for lunch at the Visitor Centre, which has a café and shop selling a variety of local produce.
