What is the neighbourhood portion of CIL?

What is the neighbourhood portion of CIL?

15% of CIL receipts are passed directly to those Parish and Town Councils within the National Park where development has taken place. Those communities that have a neighbourhood plan that has passed a referendum, will receive 25% of the CIL receipts arising from the development that takes place in their area.

These CIL receipts are paid every 6 months, at the end of October and the end of April.

All Parish and Town Councils are required to report on how the funds passed to them have been spent.  This information is contained within the IBP and summarised in the table below. This table is being updated as returns are supplied.

Parish CIL Reporting Form has been made available to Parish and Town Councils to report on how the neighbourhood portion has been spent.
